A newly created role within a large cap, PE‑backed global infrastructure business, this position reflects the company’s rapid expansion and ambition to scale its North American footprint. The M&A Manager will lead full‑cycle deal activity, from origination and evaluation through to post‑merger integration planning, while working hand‑in‑hand with global and regional stakeholders.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and analytically strong professional to contribute directly to a high‑growth M&A program and help shape the future direction of the business.

The successful candidate is required in the office circa. 3 times per week, with regional offices in Atlanta, Toronto, and Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage M&A pipeline development, including identification, qualification, and tracking of potential targets.
  • Conduct structured desktop analysis and coordinate information across regional teams.
  • Build and refine detailed financial models and valuation materials across deal sizes and transaction types.
  • Support and manage due diligence processes (financial, tax, operational), including risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate communication and reporting across North American, global, and origination teams to ensure alignment and deal momentum.
  • Contribute to pre‑integration readiness by documenting operational insights and supporting early integration planning.

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years’ experience in investment banking, transaction services, corporate development, or strategy consulting.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including accounting awareness, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high emotional intelligence for engaging with founders and management teams of mid‑market businesses.
  • Demonstrated self‑starter with the ability to handle changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.
  • Capable of developing junior talent and supporting team build‑out as growth continues.
