Finatal is recruiting for a private equity-backed financial services business that has recently completed its first deal in Germany. As they look to expand their presence in the region, the company has built a strong pipeline, and this role will focus heavily on execution. You’ll play a key role in nurturing relationships with vendors across Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day execution of deals, including IM, financial modeling, due diligence (DD) workstreams, and overseeing outsourcing, pricing, and valuations.
- Jack will support you and help with your development, especially with Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
- Willingness to travel to meet vendors and build relationships.
- Network internally with senior staff to understand the strategy, as well as externally with vendors and brokers.
- Collaborate with a team of originators while networking with local MDs and senior brokers in various regions.
- Strong relationship-building skills are essential in this traditional, highly sociable industry.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in advisory or transaction services, with a strong execution track record.
- Fluent in German.
- Lives in Germany (remote) with the ability to travel as required.
- Financial services experience beneficial but not required.
