A rapidly expanding, tech-enabled business services company is seeking an experienced M&A professional to join their team. Backed by private equity, this highly acquisitive company with clear opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities:
- This will be a full cycle position, including origination, overseeing the due diligence process, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and integration planning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, legal advisors, financial institutions, and external consultants, and ensure deadlines and KPIs are met.
- Contribute to the origination efforts of the team by analysing competitive landscapes, and targets to identify strategic opportunities for business growth.
- Oversee financial modeling and valuation exercises to assess the feasibility and potential impact of M&A transactions on the company’s financial performance.
- Lead the strategic planning and coordination of post-merger integration activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive integration plans.
Requirements:
- Currently working within the transaction services team of a reputable accountancy firm.
- Previous experience working on deals within the tech enabled space.
- ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
