Finatal is working with a highly acquisitive, private equity-backed portfolio company seeking an experienced M&A Manager to support its buy-and-build strategy. With a strong focus on the lower mid-market, they are looking to execute around seven acquisitions annually and is expanding its presence across Germany. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO, overseeing the full M&A lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Run through the entire M&A cycle and opportunities
- Lead the full M&A cycle, including origination, financial analysis, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
- Assist with identifying acquisition opportunities in alignment with the company’s buy-and-build strategy.
- Oversee the financial and legal due diligence, and execute the companies commercial due diligence.
- Doing contract negotiations such as SPA’s and LOI’s.
- Building financial models.
- Work closely with senior management on strategic growth and long-term initiatives.
- Report to directly to C-suite and presenting to the fund.
Ideal Candidate:
- 4-8 years of experience in M&A, ideally within Corporate Development.
- Candidate must have had experience in a Private Equity backed company undertaking a buy and build strategy.
- Previous experience in advisory, transaction services or investment banking is also welcomed.
- Exposure to the full deal cycle, from origination to due diligence and negotiation.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and deal execution skills.
- Experience working with SME’s.
- Previous experience in real estate or similar sectors is a bonus.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced and highly acquisitive firm.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Approaches their work pragmatically.
