Finatal is supporting a c. £50m t/o PE-backed international Healthcare Recruitment & Consulting business, seeking a Management Accountant to deliver accurate management accounts, provide commercial analysis, and support decision-making across the group. This role will report directly to the CFO and play a key part in driving both operational and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, delivering variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, and cash flow forecasting.
- Partner with departmental managers to provide insight and commercial challenge.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, monitoring working capital.
- Assist with statutory accounts and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance.
- Identify and implement process and reporting improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support growth projects and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally in Recruitment or Professional Services.
- Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP system exposure (Xero, Business Central desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear communicator, able to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced international environment.
