Finatal is looking for an Associate to join the Origination team at a leading mid-market private equity firm. This role involves identifying high-potential investment opportunities, conducting market research, and supporting the commercial due diligence process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Origination: Identify and source potential investment opportunities in high-growth sectors.
- Market Research: Perform market analysis to uncover trends and potential investment opportunities.
- Pipeline Development: Assist in building a pipeline of acquisition targets through networking and sector mapping.
- Commercial Due Diligence: Support the evaluation of target companies, focusing on their sales performance, market positioning, and growth potential.
- Relationship Building: Work with intermediaries, business owners, and industry experts to create deal flow.
Requirements:
- Relevant Experience: 1-2 years of experience in private equity, strategy consulting, or a similar role, with exposure to deal origination and commercial due diligence.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience in sales or business development, with an understanding of how companies scale and drive revenue growth.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
