The Opportunity:
Finatal is partnered with a private equity firm with a 30-year track record of investing in operational real estate and infrastructure in the UK and Europe. They have invested €20BN in 50 businesses across 25 sectors with an enterprise value of €50BN+. The founder of the business is a veteran in the Private Equity space and is a leading cornerstone investor in the business through their Family Office.
They are looking for a Principal to lead their portfolio management responsibilities within their Real Estate, Luxury Consumer, Hospitality and Agriculture investments.
Key Responsibilities:
· The Principal will focus on the real estate house-building portfolio, collaborating closely with the business on tasks such a strategy execution, operational efficiency, financial oversight, people management, and governance matters related to the Portfolio Business.
· The Principal will work alongside the Portfolio Business management teams on both routine activities and ad-hoc initiatives associated with managing the specific Portfolio Business.
· They will oversee the management of Investment Analysts or Associates assigned to the Portfolio Business.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Prior work experience in Private Equity or similar environment is preferred.
· Demonstrable experience of applying modelling techniques to financial issues, including the development of financial models from scratch.
· Experience in delivering high quality work and materials under time pressure
· Previous experience to the following sectors looking on favourably: Real Estate, Luxury Consumer, Hospitality or Agriculture.
