The Product Marketing Director/Manager will lead the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies for wealth management services, solutions, and products. This role is crucial in driving customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through data-driven campaigns and go-to-market (GTM) strategies tailored for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), financial advisors, and institutional investors.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of wealth management services, including investment products, retirement planning, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing Strategy:
· Develop and lead the execution of a marketing strategy for wealth management products and services.
· Define target audiences and segment customers based on financial profiles, behaviors, and needs.
· Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand market trends and positioning opportunities.
· Design and refine value propositions, key messaging, and positioning for wealth management offerings.
· Drive the development of messaging that resonates with high-net-worth clients, financial advisors, and institutional partners.
· Lead GTM plans for new wealth management product launches, working closely with product, sales, and marketing teams.
· Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, content marketing, digital, PR, etc.) to increase visibility and engagement of wealth management solutions.
· Collaborate with the product management team to ensure marketing strategies align with product roadmaps, features, and client needs.
· Partner with other marketing functions (e.g., digital marketing, PR, content) to create campaigns that generate demand, build brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement.
· Act as the liaison between the product, marketing, and client success teams to ensure feedback loops and continuous improvement of marketing strategies.
Experience:
· 7+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in the financial services or wealth management industry.
· Proven track record of leading marketing strategies for wealth management products, services, or solutions targeting HNWIs, financial advisors, or institutional clients.
· Experience in creating and executing GTM strategies, ideally in a SaaS or financial services environment.
· Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, retirement planning, and/or estate planning.
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of wealth management products and the client journey within financial services.
· Expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management within regulated industries.
· Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with sales, product, and marketing counterparts.
· Analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, including using marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for different audiences.
· Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the wealth management industry.
