We are seeking a Regional Strategy and Transformation Manager to join our team. This newly created position will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO WEE in driving change, implementing strategic initiatives, supporting M&A or Post Merger activities and spearheading transformation and optimisation efforts across our Western Europe market (including France,
Benelux and Iberia).
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Planning & Execution:
- Cascade Group and Company International strategies into regional and country strategies, with comprehensive set of measures and periodic reviews.
- Work closely and collaboratively with regional and country leadership to develop
- strategic plans and coordinate strategic business planning process.
- Significantly shape the growth initiatives (both strategically and operationally) in a rapidly growing and dynamic market and competitive environment.
- Transformation & Change Management:
- Lead and execute impactful and effective change management initiatives and programmes, highlighting the benefits, costs and risks.
- Be responsible for the successful delivery of transformation initiatives and the associated reporting activities
- Develop decision templates (analysis and presentations) for the (top) management of the company, including FMI and Group leadership
- Provide hands on project execution support and/ or direct execution as project
- manager when required, bringing in and implementing your ideas
- Performance, Optimisation and Business Improvement
- Coordinate with Regional and Country teams to increase operating efficiencies and profitability, translating into a set of optimisation measures (e.g. Procurement, Self Delivery or SG&A savings)
- Drive performance improvement activities together with various management levels
- Collaborate with and support business lines to enhance the professionalization of people, processes and output within the organization.
- Steer Group Resources to implement targeted initiatives.
- Periodic reporting on optimisation & professionalisation measures.
- Post Merger Integration and M&A support
- Play a key role in coordinating the integration of our acquisitions in the region / country, from integration planning, implementation and reporting
- Work in full partnership with Group Head of Post Merger Integration
- Drive the successful delivery of the synergies targets, collaborating and supporting the PMI team and bringing your ideas
- Incrementally support M&A activities, including potential targets evaluation and due diligence coordination.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Can demonstrate relevant professional experience, ideally 5 years in management consulting (e.g. business transformation, optimisation measures, strategy development)
- Education: Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus. Have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Real Estate Management.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and drive cross-functional teams. Thrive in a team, confidently manage your stakeholders, and appreciate flat hierarchies and quick decision-making processes.
- Analytical & Strategic thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends. Bring analytical and strategic thinking and action, initiative, and the drive for successful project implementation.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders. Communicate confidently and enjoyably across all levels.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment. Are keen on continuous development. Enjoy strategic work but are also eager to accompany its implementation.
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory, Fluent in at least one of the languages of their region.
