Finatal is partnered with a global lower to middle-market private equity fund focused on acquiring and transforming businesses across Europe and North America. The firm specialises in lower mid-market buyouts, complex carve-out transactions, special situations and operational value creation opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly active investment team and gain exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination through to execution and portfolio value creation.
The Role:
- Source, evaluate and execute lower to mid-market buyout opportunities across Europe.
- Build relationships with intermediaries, management teams and corporate counterparties to support deal origination.
- Assess investment opportunities, with a particular focus on carve-outs, special situations and complex businesses.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis and due diligence.
- Prepare investment committee materials and transaction documentation.
- Work closely with portfolio companies on value creation initiatives and strategic projects.
- Support negotiations and transaction execution alongside senior investment professionals.
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in Private Equity or M&A Investment Banking.
- Based in Paris, or able to commute regularly, with the expectation of being in the Paris office the majority of the week.
- Strong transaction experience and financial modelling capabilities.
- Proven ability to originate opportunities and build commercial relationships.
- Excellent analytical, commercial and communication skills.
- Exceptional academic track record.
