Finatal are currently partnered with a scaling Spanish Private Equity Fund that has a focus on small to mid-size business products and services sectors, driving growth through technology enablement and data-led efficiencies. They are now looking for an Analytics Lead to join their hands-on value creation team to drive optimisation. You will be working closely with executive teams across the portfolio to develop and improve business processes through automation, solve complex business problems through analytical solutions and drive visibility across the organisation by delivering and presenting clear and commercial Power BI dashboards. You will be partnering with portfolio CEOs/CFOs, performing a mixture of hands-on and strategic value creation work around data & analytics.
The role:
- Joining a fund at the core of digital transformation, you will utilise your hands-on analysis skills to understand individual portfolio companies’ growth journeys and bottleneck areas, providing analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
- You will utilise your technical expertise to develop scalable solutions, automate manual processes, and develop clear and interesting dashboards through Python, SQL, Power BI and other big data tools.
- Collaborating with fund-level executives to fine-tune data initiatives as well as multiple executive teams, will be part of your day-to-day, advising on data strategies and translating technical and complex tools to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in a commercial Data Analytics or Data Scientist role, with experience manipulating and interpreting large data sets to solve complex business problems.
- Exceptional skills in SQL, Python and visualisation tools such as Power BI and Alteryx.
- Track record in creating relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, with an ability to present strategic insights and trends to executives.
- A background in a client-facing role, strategic consulting, or Private Equity is useful.
