Finatal are partnering exclusively with a leading, PE-backed telecoms business, who are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Senior Finance Business Partner. This role is integral to support growth and decision-making through financial insight, impact assessment and performance reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders of all levels, influencing across the business to interpret financial results, manage performance, and drive value.
What you will be doing:
Business partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, focusing on revenue and gross profit generation.
- Be the ‘go-to’ person for sales teams to explore commercial options.
- Own, maintain and develop group commercial pricing tools.
Financial Insight & Commercial Database Management
- Drive continuous improvement programme regarding MI and KPIs.
- Translate financial data and trends into clear, actionable business insights.
- Own and improve Commercial Database
FP&A
- Contribute to annual budget and periodic forecasting processes, mainly leading on revenue and gross profit projections.
- Monitor revenue and gross profit performance against forecast and budget, identifying variances and supporting mitigation actions.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong modelling is essential (Excel)
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Highly organised, yet able to illustrate agility in flexing work plans according to business priorities.
- Ability to summarise and present financial information in a clear, concise and insightful way.
- Personable and approachable, but also able to provide challenge where required.
- Proven track record of working with Senior stakeholders.
- Passionate about being part of a culture where continuous improvement is sought.
- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles.
