Finatal is partnering with an ambitious FMCG business, generating £700m+ in annual turnover who are seeking a talented Senior Management Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. The Role:
The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with senior finance and non-finance stakeholders to professionalise financial reporting and deliver critical insights to support key commercial decisions. Key responsibilities include:
· Preparing, consolidating, and analysing financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with best practices.
· Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
· Focusing on product, food life cycle, storage/warehousing, shipping, sales; a well-rounded view and deep dive on current business processes
· Providing detailed analysis on business performance and key drivers, presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
· Supporting the development and refinement of robust financial models to guide decision-making.
· Collaborating across departments to enhance financial processes and drive efficiency.
The Requirements:
This role is designed for a step-up professional with a strong foundation in management accounting and a keen interest in progressing within a high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will possess:
· A recognised professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
· 2–3 years of experience in management accounting or FP&A within a complex finance function.
· Strong technical expertise and attention to detail, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
· A background in FMCG, ideally in food products or perishables, with experience navigating the unique challenges of this sector.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
· Ambition and drive to advance within the organisation as it continues its growth journey.
