This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle — from deal evaluation and structuring through to ongoing asset management and exit.

Responsibilities:

Deal Execution:

  • Support execution of new investments originated by senior team members
  • Lead detailed financial and commercial due diligence
  • Coordinate deal structuring and JV arrangements, including cap stack design (equity and debt)
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models, including sensitivities and scenario analysis
  • Interface with tax advisers and legal counsel to align deal structures with regulatory, tax and operational requirements
  • Draft and review key documentation (SPAs, CP lists, term sheets, closing deliverables)
  • Prepare high-quality investment materials for the Investment Committee
  • Oversee execution workflows, approvals, closing steps and checklists

Portfolio & Exit Management:

  • Work with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, asset management) and external partners to support ongoing management of portfolio companies
  • Build strong relationships with operating partners and management teams to help execute business plans
  • Manage the realization of maturing investments, ensuring value is maximised and exits are executed efficiently
  • Monitor debt positions
  • Support broker dialogue and exit preparation (including IC materials and data room management)

Requirements:

Candidate Profile:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in transaction services, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
  • ACA / ACCA / CFA qualification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Proven experience in deal structuring and underwriting
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Familiarity with European tax and legal frameworks
  • Able to manage multiple deals at different stages, juggling timelines and priorities
  • Highly organised with excellent project management capabilities
  • Strong communicator and confident team player — able to take initiative and operate independently

Desirable Attributes:

  • Additional European language (particularly German) is a strong advantage
  • Excellent analytical modelling and written communication skills
  • Highly attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to engage and challenge stakeholders constructively
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong alignment with the fund’s values, including diversity, inclusion and ESG principles
