Finatal is leading the search for a Permanent Value Creation Director to join a manufacturing services business, backed by a reputable Large-Cap Private Equity firm. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving the business through the next phase of growth, and in their role will act as a Chief of Staff (CoS) or a Post-Merger Integration (PMI) expert. This is a high-impact role that will play a critical part in ensuring that the company transitions from a strong player to a market leader by optimizing operations, providing strategic oversight, operational leadership, and M&A integration expertise.
This role will be instrumental in ensuring that the company’s acquisitions are not just completed successfully but fully integrated to maximise value. While the company has been effective at identifying and closing deals, the real challenge lies in aligning cultures, consolidating product portfolios, and ensuring operational efficiencies. You will be tasked with go-to-market strategy and execution, ensuring that the company’s GTM approach is optimised, leveraging the strengths of its acquisitions while maintaining a cohesive market presence.
You will be responsible for cultural & leadership alignment; addressing the cultural challenges that come with integrating multiple businesses, ensuring alignment across leadership teams and
fostering a unified company culture. Furthermore, financial & strategic optimisation will also fall under your remit and you will be successful in driving EBITDA growth ($1M–$10M range) by identifying efficiency improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and revenue synergies.
What we are looking for
- Deep sector experience in manufacturing
- Proven track record in PE-backed companies, particularly in M&A integration and scaling mid-market businesses.
- Strong operational background in process optimisation, commercial strategy, and leadership development.
- Experience working across Swiss and U.S. business landscapes, understanding both European R&D and U.S. market dynamics.
