Finatal are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed fintech business at a pivotal stage of its journey. As the company scales into the US, there’s an urgent need for a technically strong Group Financial Controller to step in and professionalise the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive process improvement across reporting, controls, and month-end to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Strengthen internal controls and implement best-in-class financial processes
- Lead the finance function across the group, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and insight
- Own the preparation and review of consolidated statutory accounts under UK GAAP
- Support audit and compliance requirements and liaise with external advisors
- Help build a scalable finance structure fit for a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
Skills & Experience:
- ACA or ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Demonstrated experience in a Private Equity-backed business and high-growth environment
- Strong technical accounting background with a hands-on approach
- Previous experience leading a finance function through transformation and scale
- Fintech experience is a must
