£325 - £350 per day
An opportunity has arisen for a Year-End Accountant within a Private Equity-backed education business. They are a highly acquisitive group that have grown exponentially in the last few years with no sign of slowing down, having done exceptionally well through Covid-19. Reporting into an accomplished PE Finance Director, you will become a key member of the team, providing key financial insights to senior stake holders. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional business, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Leading the production of the Group’s Financial Statementsand Reports
Liaising with external auditors, including managing audit queries raised during on-site visit
Undertaking multi-currency group consolidations
Providing responses to technical accounting questions as they arise, including supporting papers as necessary
Communicating the audit timetable, deadlines for deliverables and managing the wider finance team
Assisting with the completion of month end and other management reports
Various ad-hoc duties as required
ACA qualified (Essential)
Strong communication skills and a business standard of English
Detailed knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
Experience producing and reviewing statutory accounts
Experience with Netsuite (desirable)
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
