A private equity-backed technology business with a current revenue of £5M, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance (VP) to join their London-based team. They are poised for significant growth and are looking to triple their revenue in the next year, with plans to expand into the US market.
The company is at the forefront of transforming student technology, delivering innovative solutions that empower educators and learners. As we embark on a new phase of expansion and growth, we need a VP Of Finance who can take our finance operations in-house and drive our financial strategy to support our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies to support rapid revenue growth and successful US expansion.
- Standalone Finance Role: Oversee all finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and control.
- Hands-On Management: Implement and manage finance processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Expansion Planning: Prepare financial models and analysis to support our US market entry and growth strategy.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage internal controls.
Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent, with substantial experience in a senior financial role.
- Proven track record in managing finance functions, with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience of leading or supporting fundraises, Series A round and beyond.
- Experience with private equity-backed companies and scaling operations is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive financial performance.
- Background in marketing, media, B2B technology, ad tech, or events technology preferred.
