Company Overview: A dynamic and rapidly growing B2B SaaS business in the health and wellness sector, backed by a prominent venture capitalist, is seeking a Vice President of Finance. With a balanced revenue stream of 50% from the UK and 50% from the USA, the company currently operates with an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of £4 million. Positioned for significant growth through international expansion and strategic acquisitions, this firm is dedicated to enhancing enterprise-level customer experiences. 

Role Overview: The incoming Vice President of Finance will play a crucial role in driving the company’s financial strategy and supporting the CEO as a trusted business partner. This hands-on position requires a proactive approach to financial management and a keen understanding of the SaaS landscape, particularly within the health and wellness sector. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. 
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and business operations. 
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. 
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring the business has the financial resources to support growth initiatives. 
  • Lead the finance team in developing robust financial controls and systems to support scalable operations. 
  • Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and partnerships. 
  • Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, providing actionable insights to drive performance. 
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including investors and auditors, to ensure transparency and compliance. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment. 
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic planning. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. 
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset. 
  • A professional qualification in finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable.
