Role Overview:

Finatal is seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to join our PE-backed mid cap B2B services client in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in their recent transition from legacy systems to WorkDay. As a Systems Accountant, you will be responsible for data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data cleansing to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the data migration process from legacy systems to WorkDay.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to maintain high-quality data during the migration process.
  • Work closely with the finance and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure a seamless transition.
  • Provide technical and system support to end-users and assist with training where necessary.
  • Document processes and provide feedback for improvements in system workflows and integrations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Accountant with a strong background in data migration and UAT testing.
  • Familiarity with WorkDay or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Contract role experience outside IR35 is a plus.
