Challenge:
Aurelius Group is a pan-European private equity, private credit and real estate investor with offices in five European countries. For the past 17 years, they had solely used placement agents for their fundraises but decided it was time to bring a dedicated professional in-house due to a tough fundraising market.
Action:
We were tasked with finding a uniquely specialised candidate for their search that had extensive European fundraising experience across multiple asset classes, as well as fitting in with their culture as an originally German business. Through our network and search capabilities we delivered a shortlist of the most fitting professionals on the market and through an extensive interview process, there were fantastic and experienced candidates.
Impact:
The chosen candidate was selected and since her appointment in Q3 2023, she has vastly accelerated Aurelius’ fundraising capabilities and LP base across both private equity and private credit.
