Post-merger integration experts across our interim network, supporting multiple funds

Challenge:

With private equity focused on value creation via inorganic growth, it is vital that we are able to deploy trusted, investor-savvy, post-merger integration resource into portfolio companies. Particularly in the mid-market, where businesses do not have dedicated integration teams, it is critical that we are able to rapidly respond to deal-related requirements with our pre-vetted candidate network.

Action:

We work closely with specialist interims, like Islam, who we trust to deliver high-quality PMI work for our clients. Whether we are engaged by the private equity firm directly, or by a portfolio management team, we know we are able to turn to them to provide early stage guidance, advise on the potential roadmap and actually engage on the assignment itself where appropriate.

Impact:

We have been engaged on integration assignments from small, primary buy-out mergers through to large-cap buy-and-builds. We have placed a number of integration specialists into multiple roles, including Islam who has successfully completed assignments for Livingbridge, Waterland, Tenzing, Levine Leichtman and three assets for Five Arrows.

Islam, Interim PMI specialist, said: Finatal is very well positioned in the private equity industry, working with many of the blue chip firms. I have been introduced by Finatal to my last three engagements and they always have a steady stream of roles that are second-to-none for consultants and interim executives alike. Clients trust the team implicitly, given their record of delivering for them with talent and experience on a consistent basis, and I could not recommend Finatal enough.
