Supporting a full team build-out for Qualitest, a leading services business

Challenge:

The CFO of Qualitest was faced with completely transforming a finance function. Marlin had given them a number of key objectives: to radically improve quality of management information, to set up a fully capable M&A and integration arm and to get exit ready.

Action:

We placed numerous interim consultants over the following 18 months, including expert financial modellers, technical finance leads, exit-readiness support specialists and NetSuite implementation experts. We were then mandated with the permanent team build-out.

Impact:

The permanent team we placed at Qualitest were able to steer the business during a mission-critical growth phase and successfully exit Marlin’s investment to Bridgepoint.
