Finatal are supporting a high-growth, private equity-backed tech-enabled services business in the search for a commercially minded and data-driven CFO.

Headquartered in London with ~50% of revenues generated in the US, the company has achieved impressive organic growth to reach £70m revenue and £10m EBITDA. With plans to double revenue and treble EBITDA within the next 2–3 years, the business is now entering a new phase of scale-up — driven by international expansion, operational excellence, and strategic M&A.

The Opportunity:

This is a high-impact CFO role, suited to a hands-on, strategic leader with strong commercial acumen and a passion for data-led decision making. Working closely with the CEO and private equity investors, you will shape the financial roadmap, professionalise processes, and lay the foundations for a successful exit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and evolve a high-performing finance function to support rapid scaling
  • Deliver timely, actionable insights through enhanced data analytics, dashboarding, and KPIs
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape strategy and drive performance
  • Support and execute a proactive M&A agenda including target evaluation, integration, and synergies
  • Implement robust forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning models
  • Improve financial systems, processes, and controls to match scale and investor expectations
  • Provide regular board and investor reporting, and support preparation for exit

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical and commercial grounding
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth tech-enabled services business
  • A track record of scaling organisations through both organic and acquisitive growth
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and dashboard visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-led culture
  • Experienced in investor reporting, due diligence, and exit preparation
