About the Project
The successful candidate will lead a strategic project aimed at optimising client profitability and supporting service-line growth. This includes:
- Building a detailed profitability analysis framework for key client accounts, highlighting revenue, margin, and client retention trends.
- Designing new financial models and processes to streamline client reporting, helping senior leaders make data-driven decisions around pricing, client targeting, and resource allocation.
- Creating dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across service lines, providing insights into client lifetime value and project ROI.
- Collaborating with the senior management team to propose pricing strategies that enhance profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a profitability analysis framework for client accounts.
- Provide monthly and quarterly analysis and insights on client/project-level financials, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Work closely with HR and business development teams to recommend process improvements that enhance client profitability and operational efficiency.
- Create regular financial forecasts for service-line leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, presenting findings and strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant experience in consultancy or professional services.
- Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with a proven track record of working in a finance business partnering role.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to develop clear and insightful reporting.
- Available to start promptly and able to work in London on a flexible, hybrid basis.
