With £100m ARR, international operations, and a clear value creation strategy underway, the business is seeking a strategic finance leader capable of helping drive the company toward a planned exit over the next two years.
Working closely with the CEO and highly regarded leadership team, the successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the next phase of growth, both organically and through M&A. The CFO will sit on the Board as a true strategic partner, helping steer the business through scale, transformation, acquisition activity, and ultimately a successful transaction process within two years.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO, Board, and investors to execute the growth and exit strategy
- Lead all financial operations across an international software business
- Drive strategic planning, forecasting, and commercial decision-making
- Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities
- Support integration activity and value creation initiatives post-acquisition
- Build and enhance reporting, operational finance, and investor communication
- Prepare and execute exit within two years
- Act as a key voice within the executive leadership team and Board
The Ideal Profile
- Proven CFO experience within a software / SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of recurring revenue business models
- Track record of delivering growth within PE-backed or investor-led environments
- Experience leading M&A activity and managing complex strategic projects
- Commercially astute, strategic, and highly credible at Board level
- International business exposure preferred
