A leading private equity-backed Financial Services business is seeking an ambitious FP&A Lead to play a key role in the next stage of its growth and value creation journey. Having grown rapidly through an extensive acquisition programme, the business has completed over 50 acquisitions in recent years and now generates over £500m t/o with a clear opportunity to further enhance profitability and performance over the coming years. With strong organic growth, supportive shareholders and a planned exit horizon of approximately three years, the organisation is now focused on transforming its financial planning, reporting and decision-support capabilities to match the scale and sophistication of the wider business. This is a transformation story rather than a turnaround. The business is performing well but requires greater rigour around planning, data, analytics and performance management to support continued growth.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role offers the opportunity to help build a best-in-class FP&A capability within a complex, acquisitive and operationally diverse environment.
You will play a central role in modernising forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes whilst helping establish the infrastructure, insight and performance measures required for a large-scale, PE-backed organisation.
The position offers significant exposure to executive leadership and investors, making it an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual seeking a highly visible role with genuine influence.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities across the Group.
- Developing enhanced management reporting and performance analytics.
- Driving improvements in forecasting accuracy and business insight.
- Supporting board, shareholder and executive reporting requirements.
- Building scalable FP&A processes suitable for a complex multi-entity business.
- Improving data quality, reporting capability and business intelligence frameworks.
- Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to improve decision-making.
- Supporting acquisition integration and performance measurement initiatives.
- Leveraging technology, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve planning effectiveness.

- Experience of planning and reporting systems such as NetSuite, OneStream or similar.
- A high-energy, ambitious mindset with the resilience to help drive cultural and operational change.
