An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused finance leader to join a large, UK-based organisation as Group Finance Director of Commercial Finance.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial finance agenda, building group-wide financial models, driving strategic insight, and supporting executive decision-making. This is a newly created role offering significant influence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the group’s integrated financial model.
- Build driver-based forecasting and identify key value drivers across revenue, margin and cash.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial insight and challenge.
- Design and implement KPI frameworks that align operational performance with strategic objectives.
- Support strategic planning, investment appraisals, scenario analysis and corporate finance initiatives.
- Produce high-quality financial insight and presentations for executive and Board-level stakeholders.
- Work closely with finance leadership to enhance commercial capability across the organisation.
About You
You’ll be an accomplished finance professional with:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Significant commercial finance experience with exposure to corporate finance and strategic planning.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience influencing senior executives and Board-level stakeholders.
- A strong commercial mindset with the ability to simplify complex financial information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
