We are supporting a £60m turnover business in the search for an experienced Interim Finance Consultant to join on an initial 6–12 month contract.
This is a broad, hands-on role suited to a qualified accountant who is comfortable operating across all areas of finance. The successful candidate will be a true finance all-rounder, capable of balancing financial control, reporting, business partnering, FP&A, cash flow management and process improvement while supporting senior leadership through a period of change and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, management reporting and financial control activities
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Provide commercial analysis and business partnering to operational stakeholders
- Oversee cash flow management, balance sheet controls and working capital
- Support statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance activities
- Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function
- Deliver financial insight and reporting to senior leadership
- Assist with ad hoc projects, systems improvements and transformation initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven experience operating in broad finance leadership or consultancy roles
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Comfortable working across accounting, FP&A, commercial finance and business partnering
- Hands-on, proactive and able to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
