We are working with a growing business seeking an ambitious and technically strong Management Accountant to join the finance team on an interim basis.
This role is ideally suited to a recently qualified ACA from a Big 4 or Top 10 audit background who is looking to gain their first industry experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support month-end close, management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis and process improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role that will provide excellent exposure across the finance function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations and review
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting statutory audit requirements
- Improving financial controls and reporting processes
- Ad hoc financial analysis and business partnering support
The Candidate
- Recently qualified ACA (0-2 years PQE)
- Trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice
- Strong technical accounting and audit background
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
