Finatal are partnering with a c.£50m turnover SaaS business, backed by a leading PE fund and set to double in size. The company is embarking on a high-growth journey with a clear path to exit, making this a pivotal hire.

As Director of FP&A, you’ll bring credibility, strong communication, and senior leadership experience, including investor interaction. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll lead both the FP&A and Data & Analytics teams, driving data-led decision making, performance awareness, and alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate strategy into business and customer targets across short- and long-term horizons.
  • Partner with the Leadership Team to prioritise and address key business challenges.
  • Define and embed KPIs, dashboards, and performance governance to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Deliver reporting, forecasting, and analytics that provide actionable insights and support growth.
  • Build a single source of truth within the data function to ensure consistency across the business.
  • Play a key role in scaling the business to £100m, including evaluating M&A opportunities.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, ideally with consultancy or multinational exposure.
  • 5+ years in planning/forecasting, with strong data modelling and visualisation skills.
  • Knowledge of key planning, forecasting, and performance management systems.
  • Track record of managing performance reviews, identifying interventions, and implementing change.
  • Highly analytical, able to distil complex data into clear recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including Board, senior leadership, and investors.
  • Ownership mindset with ability to establish robust forecasting models and lead the FP&A function.
