Finatal is partnering with a leading private equity investment firm to appoint a Financial Analyst/Associate within its Asset Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to support the full lifecycle of private equity and private credit investments, from transaction execution through to ongoing portfolio treasury management.

Working closely with investment, finance, legal, and portfolio company teams, you’ll play a key role in funding transactions, cash management, reporting, and treasury oversight across a growing investment portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Support transaction structuring, funding, hedging, and treasury-related tax considerations
  • Prepare and manage Sources & Uses schedules and deal funding processes
  • Execute FX hedging strategies and maintain deal documentation
  • Produce cash flow reporting, reconciliations, funding requests, and budget reporting
  • Monitor portfolio company cash flows, funding requirements, and financial reporting
  • Administer loan facilities, including interest, principal repayments, and covenant monitoring
  • Manage relationships with lenders and support treasury input into valuation and tax processes
  • Drive improvements to treasury reporting, controls, and processes across the portfolio

Requirements:

  • Experience in treasury, fund finance, asset management, or a similar finance role
  • Exposure to private equity, private credit, or alternative investments is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, funding mechanics, and loan administration
  • Knowledge of covenant monitoring and FX hedging is beneficial
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • ACT, ACA, ACCA, or a similar qualification (or part-qualified) is preferred but not essential
