The Opportunity
Finatal is working with a c.£20m multinational multisite SME. The business requires a Financial Controller to report to the CFO who will be front and centre to deliver major business change. The successful hire will be technically equipped, a strong business partner to aid cross functional communications, maximising systems, providing insightful analysis to senior stakeholders and particularly adept to ‘best in class’ standards.
The Responsibilities
- Comfortable overseeing the business accounting function with a team of 5 direct reports
- Reporting directly into CFO
- Supervise the month close cycle – ensure accurate reporting
- Manage and develop the accounting team
- Responsible for monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Fluent in financial compliance: regulatory requirements and accounting standards – UKGAAP and IFRS
The Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with substantial post qualified experience
- Experience within a multisite SME
- Experience managing a team
- Passionate about technical finance with proven finance leadership experience, ability to build a ‘best in class’ finance function
