Finatal are recruiting a Group CFO for a high-growth, consumer-facing business that has scaled to $500m in revenue, delivering over 80% year-on-year growth.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and shareholders, the Group CFO will lead the global finance function, providing the strategic financial leadership, commercial insight and operational discipline required to sustain hypergrowth.
You will oversee an international finance team of approximately 20, including Regional Finance Directors across each country, ensuring the business has the financial infrastructure, controls and insight to support continued expansion.
The role requires a dynamic, commercially focused leader who understands the demands of scaling a consumer business at pace, balancing investment in growth with profitability, cash generation and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership: Partner with the CEO, Board and shareholders to define and execute the Group’s growth strategy.
- Commercial performance: Drive revenue growth, margin optimisation, unit economics and profitability across international markets.
- Financial stewardship: Own group-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, cash management and financial control.
- International expansion: Support market entry, geographic expansion and the development of scalable financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Consumer economics: Provide deep insight into customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, retention, pricing, channel performance and contribution margins, as relevant to the business model.
- Scalable infrastructure: Build robust finance systems, processes and reporting capabilities to support a rapidly growing, multi-market consumer business.
- Leadership: Lead and develop a finance team of 20, including Regional Finance Directors across each country.
- Board and investor engagement: Deliver clear financial insight and strategic recommendations to support decision-making, investment and long-term value creation.
- Governance and risk: Maintain strong financial controls, compliance and risk management across the international Group.
The Ideal Candidate
- An experienced CFO or senior finance leader with a proven track record in high-growth, consumer-facing businesses.
- Experience scaling an international business at significant revenue scale, ideally within a business generating $500m+ in revenue or of comparable complexity.
- A strong understanding of consumer economics, commercial drivers and the levers that underpin sustainable growth.
- Experience operating in a high-growth environment, ideally with sustained growth rates of 50%+ year-on-year.
- Proven international finance leadership experience, including managing multi-country operations and regional finance teams.
- A commercially astute, strategic thinker who can combine pace and ambition with financial rigour.
- An accomplished leader capable of building, developing and empowering high-performing finance teams.
- Comfortable partnering with founders, CEOs, Boards and investors in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment.
