Finatal is partnering with a PE-backed Technology Services Business looking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Director to lead its finance function through an important period of growth and development.
Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring the business has a strong financial infrastructure, high-quality reporting and the commercial insight required to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance function.
- Own management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
- Improve financial controls, processes and reporting across the business.
- Provide clear commercial insight to the CEO, leadership team and PE investors.
- Drive improvements across KPI reporting, profitability and business performance.
- Support strategic initiatives and the wider growth plan.
- Ensure finance is equipped to support a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Ideal Profile
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Experienced Finance Director, CFO or senior finance leader.
- Previous experience within a technology services business.
- Strong understanding of the demands of a PE-backed environment.
- Track record of leading and developing strong finance teams.
- Commercially minded and hands-on, with the ability to operate strategically while remaining close to the numbers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with CEOs, senior leadership teams and PE investors.
