Role: Finatal have been exclusively mandated by a PE backed managed services business, seeking a Head of Finance to manage the finance function. This role reports direct to CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely financial statements.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and management.
- Supervise transactional accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and preparation for external audits.
- Manage cash flow and working capital, optimising cash application and collections.
- Drive continuous improvements in finance processes and ERP systems.
- Support financial policy development and promote best practices across the team.
Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with relevant experience in technical finance roles.
- Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, ideally within PE-backed environments.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leader and people manager with the ability to drive change.
