Finatal has partnered with a PE-backed, high-growth software services portfolio business, recently carved out; it is now entering a phase of significant growth and transformation. We are on the search for an interim Finance Business Partner to work closely with a fantastic, dynamic CFO and partner with CEO, COO and Divisional Heads. This person will have a significant commercial impact on the business, make serious contributions to strategic decisions and represent finance across the business. They will also work on the broader FP&A elements – where to target growth and long-term planning. 

The CFO envisions this individual growing alongside the business, taking on numerous responsibilities across FP&A, commercial finance, and strategic leadership – they will have a pivotal role in the future exit and can quickly progress to a managerial position. 

The ideal candidate would enjoy working with numerous stakeholders, particularly sales teams, have really strong Excel skills and analysis ability, and have worked with Salesforce. 

  • Partners with CFO, CEO, COO and Department Heads 
  • Work closely with sales teams on strategy and business plans 
  • Give accurate and important commercial insights and reports 
  • Be a visible face across the business
  • Translate finance for senior stakeholders 
  • Strong analysis skills – able to work with numerous data sources 
  • Broader FP&A – budgeting, forecasting and model
  • Available in maximum 1 month
  • 3+ years Qualified Accountant – CIMA or ACA preferred 
  • Confident and articulate 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Sales data analysis 
  • Great Salesforce understanding 
  • NetSuite would be preferable
