We are partnering with a manufacturing business seeking an experienced Interim Finance Consultant to provide hands-on support across the finance function.
This is a delivery-focused mandate requiring someone who can quickly get into the detail, take ownership across the finance function and make an immediate impact. Previous Sage 200 experience is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical finance capability with a genuinely hands-on approach, working closely with the wider business to ensure finance is operating effectively and providing the information required to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of core financial reporting, controls and day-to-day finance activities.
- Provide hands-on support across the finance function, getting into the detail where required.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to key stakeholders.
- Review existing finance processes and controls, identifying and implementing improvements where required.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to provide commercial and financial insight.
- Support the wider finance requirements of the business throughout the interim assignment.
Candidate Profile
We’re keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Significant hands-on finance experience within manufacturing environments.
- Previous Sage 200 experience is essential.
- Strong financial reporting, controls, budgeting and forecasting capability.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to operate autonomously and get into the detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Cambridgeshire 3–4 days per week.
- Immediate availability or the ability to start at very short notice.
