Our client is a private equity-backed healthcare business looking to appoint an operationally focused Interim Finance Director to partner closely with the Regional CEO and drive the transformation and performance of the German business.
This role is focused on improving operational performance rather than purely managing the finance function. The successful candidate will work closely with the operational leadership team, increase financial transparency and help drive business performance through KPI-based management and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the CEO throughout the operational transformation
- Improve reporting, forecasting and KPI-driven management
- Restructure and optimise the Shared Service Centre
- Develop meaningful dashboards and operational performance reporting
- Analyse site-level performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Work closely with operations to drive sustainable performance improvements
- Enhance the finance organisation and implement new systems and tools
- Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities
- Support the ongoing finance transformation and operating model development
Profile
- Proven experience as an Interim CFO, Finance Director, Finance Manager or Head of Finance
- Hands-on mindset with a strong execution focus
- Experience within multi-site organisations and shared service environments
- Track record in turnaround, restructuring or performance improvement situations
- Experience working in private equity-backed businesses
- Strong understanding of KPI-driven performance management
- Fluent German and good English language skills
