Overview:
Finatal is partnering with a mid-market PE-backed manufacturing company preparing for a strategic exit. They are looking for an experienced FD for a 6-month contract who has previously supported on an exit process (either to PE or to trade). The company is currently generating revenues of approximately £90M.
As Finance Director you will be working with the CFO, PE partners and other stakeholders in preparation for the change in ownership. You will also be expected to manage some of the day to day running of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the key financial aspects of the exit, including forecasting, financial planning and reporting.
· Run point with senior management relaying key information for stakeholders.
· Review current financial reports of the business and confirm records, managing the due dalliance process.
· Optimize the company’s current financial performance to maximize value for the sale.
· Identify and manage any risks that could affect the exit of the business.
Requirements:
· Previous experience with as a Financial Director or equivalent senior leadership role, preferably with a PE backed business.
· Previous experience managing exit processes, preparing the business for sale.
· Significant experience managing stakeholders and excellent communication skills.
· ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
· The role is hybrid requesting 2 days in the office.
