We are partnering with a PE-backed international financial services business seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to support a critical phase of growth and transformation.
With a number of strategic initiatives underway, including acquisition integration, finance transformation and operational scaling, the CFO is looking to bring in an experienced finance leader who can quickly embed within the business and deliver against a clearly defined change agenda.
Working closely with the CFO, executive leadership team and investors, you will provide additional bandwidth and expertise across a range of high-profile projects while ensuring the finance function remains equipped to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of key finance transformation initiatives across reporting, controls, processes and systems.
- Drive the successful integration of newly acquired businesses into the group finance structure.
- Review and enhance management reporting, forecasting and cashflow processes.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance operations, governance and controls.
- Support the CFO with investor, lender and Board reporting requirements.
- Provide finance leadership across acquisition-related projects, including diligence support and post-deal integration.
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to improve decision-making and financial visibility.
- Build scalable processes capable of supporting future growth and acquisition activity.
- Deliver ad-hoc strategic and operational projects as required by the CFO and leadership team.
Candidate Profile
We’re keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Previous experience operating as an Interim Finance Director within complex or changing environments.
- A track record of delivering transformation, integration or change programmes.
- Experience within PE-backed, high-growth or acquisitive businesses.
- Strong financial reporting, controls and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Financial services experience is highly desirable.
- The ability to quickly assess challenges, implement solutions and deliver tangible outcomes.
- Immediate availability or the ability to start at short notice.
