Role Overview:
The Interim FP&A Manager will play a critical role in the finance team, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and providing strategic insights to support the company’s growth objectives. This role involves managing the FP&A function, developing financial models, and collaborating with senior management to drive business performance and strategic initiatives during this interim period.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to senior management.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Business Partnering: Work closely with business units and department heads to provide financial guidance and support operational decision-making.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting and analysis.
Risk Management: Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments, such as accounting, operations, and sales, to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). CFA preferred.
Experience in private equity or a multi-site business environment is highly desirable.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a proven track record in FP&A roles.
Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
