Finatal is partnering with a Private Equity-backed Manufacturing business that has recently completed an investment process and is embarking on a significant period of post-deal professionalisation.
The business is seeking an experienced Interim Head of FP&A to build and enhance the FP&A capability, providing robust financial planning, reporting and commercial insight to support growth. Working closely with the CFO, leadership team and PE investors, you will play a critical role in establishing best-in-class planning and performance management processes within a growing SME environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budget, forecast and strategic planning processes.
- Develop and improve Board, lender and PE investor reporting.
- Build financial models, scenario planning and cash flow forecasts.
- Establish KPI reporting and performance dashboards.
- Partner with operational teams to drive business performance.
- Deliver commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Support value creation initiatives and growth projects.
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting and systems capability.
- Provide insight on margins, productivity, operational performance and profitability.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified preferred.
- Previous FP&A leadership experience.
- Private Equity-backed Manufacturing experience essential.
- Experience supporting a business through post-deal professionalisation.
- Strong financial modelling and commercial finance skills.
- Experience building FP&A processes within a growing SME.
- Excellent stakeholder management and board-facing communication skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
