We are supporting a large cap PE-backed software business looking for an experienced interim NetSuite / Billing specialist to join their Finance Operations team.

The role will focus on understanding and improving the end-to-end billing process, including how data from different systems feeds into the billing engine and ultimately NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Billing Manager to understand and document current billing processes and data flows.
  • Act as the finance/billing SME across wider business and transformation projects.
  • Assess the billing impact of changes to pricing, discounts, contracts and processes.
  • Understand how data flows between Salesforce, NetSuite and other systems.
  • Identify billing requirements, controls and potential risks within projects.
  • Work with non-finance stakeholders to ensure billing implications are understood and addressed.
  • Support ongoing systems, acquisition and process improvement activity.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong NetSuite functional experience.
  • Significant hands-on billing / O2C experience.
  • Strong understanding of billing data, systems and processes.
  • Comfortable working across projects and engaging with senior/non-finance stakeholders.
  • Analytical and hands-on, with the ability to get into the detail and identify solutions.
  • Experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant, Billing Manager, O2C Consultant or Finance Systems Consultant would be highly relevant.
  • Experienced in a large-scale business (£100mil+ t/o).

Desirable: Salesforce, SuiteBilling, SaaS/subscription experience and revenue recognition.

SaaS experience is not essential — strong NetSuite and billing experience is the priority.
