Finatal is pleased to be partnered with a leading financial services firm based in The Midlands. As they continue to grow, both organically and through acquisition, the team are seeking a talented and experienced Year-End Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Role Purpose
The Year-End Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting processes. You will be responsible for managing end-of-year accounting tasks, including management accounts, consolidations, and preparing the company for audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports for regulatory submissions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent.
- Financial Services experience.
- Experience working within an FCA regulated environment.Â
