The Opportunity:
Finatal is working with a leading Lower Mid-Market private equity fund that is looking for a driven individual to join the investment team. This individual will be involved in all parts of the deal process, from origination to execution and be joining a growing team in a rapidly growing part of the market
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the UK Lower Mid-Market private equity space
The Role:
· Involvement in all parts of the deal process, from origination through to execution
· Taking ownership of key elements of transaction execution (e.g. due diligence, preparation of investment appraisals for submission to the IC)
· Managing deal execution as number two to a Partner / Director (including managing third parties)
· Working with portfolio companies on delivery of business plans through to exit
The Requirements:
· The successful candidate will ideally have spent time in Transaction Services in Big 4 (Manager level).
· The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
· The successful candidate may have prior PE experience but it is not essential, e.g. Investment Associate or Manager with a private equity or venture capital fund
· At least five years’ experience.
