Loan Operations Associate, Private Credit

We are exclusively partnered with an entrepreneurial credit investor who offer financing solutions to technology businesses across Europe. Following an exciting period of growth, they are now looking to add an Operations Associate to support its growing portfolio and lending activities. 

This role will sit across all of the platform’s strategies, and work closely with their investment, finance and operations teams. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and smooth administration of the fund’s loan portfolio. This position would suit an organised and detail oriented professional who enjoys ownership and responsibility within a hands-on operational environment. 

The role

  • Managing the operational administration of loans across the fund’s portfolio. 
  • Setting up and maintaining new loan facilities within the firm’s loan management system. 
  • Producing and maintaining loan schedules and repayment records. 
  • Monitoring drawdowns, interest accruals, fees, repayments and other loan related activity. 
  • Supporting portfolio reporting and ensuring data accuracy across internal systems. 
  • Reviewing existing loan and portfolio data and driving ongoing data quality improvements. 
  • Performing regular data cleansing, reconciliation and governance activities.

The requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in loan operations, private credit operations, middle office or credit administration. 
  • Experience working with loan-level data and operational management of debt portfolios. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach to work. 
  • Comfortable working within loan management systems and operational platforms. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. 
  • A proactive, reliable and hands-on mindset.
