On behalf of our client, a leading and fast-growing company in the Düsseldorf area, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant (m/f/d) with solid experience in preparing financial statements under HGB and IFRS, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes. The ideal candidate is proficient in ERP Systems, has advanced Excel skills, and excels in communication and collaboration. Fluency in both German and English is required.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Leading and developing a accounting team
- Managing the closing process and financial reporting
- Optimizing accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborating with controlling, tax departments, and external auditors
- Supporting audits and tax inspections
