The Opportunity:

Finatal is working with a PE-backed, multi-site consumer business experiencing rapid growth and transformation. Currently generating c.£200m in turnover

They are seeking a dynamic Head of FP&A to lead group-level planning and insight, with a particular focus on performance across their site network and revenue-driving functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across the group, ensuring robust financial insight aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Act as a key business partner to operations, commercial, and marketing teams—providing actionable insights that optimise site performance and profitability.
  • Lead the analysis of new site openings, ROI modelling, pricing strategy, and performance benchmarking across locations.
  • Deliver high-quality, forward-looking management information and KPIs to the CFO and board.
  • Build and develop a small, high-performing FP&A team with a culture of commercial curiosity, speed, and precision.
  • Partner closely with private equity stakeholders, providing clear financial narratives around growth drivers and operational levers.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong track record in FP&A leadership roles within multi-site, consumer-facing businesses (e.g. retail, leisure, hospitality, health/wellness).
  • Private equity experience is essential, with a strong understanding of value creation, operational KPIs, and investor reporting.
  • Experience working in companies of similar size
  • Strong modelling skills, systems proficiency, and ability to translate complex data into compelling insight.
  • A natural business partner, confident working across commercial, operational and investor landscapes.
  • Resilient, hands-on, and motivated by pace, change, and commercial impact.
