We are partnering with a global leader in software solutions to hire a high impact Senior Analyst its Global Corporate Development team.

This is a full‑cycle M&A role in a high‑growth, highly acquisitive environment, focused on recurring‑revenue software, SaaS and technology‑enabled services.

Key responsibilities

  • Pipeline management: Take ownership of the M&A pipeline, screening and qualifying opportunities, keeping the CRM up to date, and preparing initial viewpoints on potential targets.
  • Financial modelling & valuation: Develop and maintain detailed M&A models, trading and transaction comparables, and ad‑hoc analyses (such as ARR cohorts / customer cubes) for software and SaaS companies.
  • Operating model development: Create flexible, driver‑based operating models to underpin business cases and scenario planning, with particular emphasis on recurring‑revenue dynamics.
  • Executive materials: Produce clear, concise presentations for boards and investment committees that distil complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Project management: Manage timelines, workstreams and key deliverables across functions on end‑to‑end software and technology transactions.
  • Due diligence: Coordinate and support cross‑functional due diligence (product, strategy, finance, legal, tax, HR) as well as external advisors (TDD, FDD, CDD).
  • Counterparty engagement: Assist in managing interactions with target companies, banks, private equity funds and other advisers throughout the deal process.
  • Divestitures & carve‑outs: Help drive carve‑out assessments, preparation activities and self‑due diligence.
  • Transaction administration: Support the execution of NDAs, term sheets and other essential transaction documents over the life of each deal.

Candidate profile

  • 2–5 years’ experience in investment banking with demonstrable end‑to‑end M&A execution experience.
  • Experience in software, SaaS and/or technology‑enabled services deals is essential; vertical or application software exposure is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of software and SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, net retention, churn, LTV/CAC, cloud vs on‑prem mix, etc.).
  • Advanced financial modelling skills and comfort building and owning complex valuation and operating models.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong executive presence; comfortable working with senior stakeholders and “reading the room.”
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams on compressed timelines.
  • Proactive, low‑ego team player with a genuine interest in software, emerging technologies and applied AI.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to streamline research, analysis or DD is a plus.

What makes this opportunity distinctive:

  • Direct exposure to scaled, recurring‑revenue software and data businesses in a market‑leading group.
  • High deal velocity on transactions from US$5m to US$500m, with genuine full‑cycle responsibility.
  • One of the most acquisitive platforms in its segment, outgrowing many peers and offering strong career progression.
  • Tight‑knit, supportive team with clear routes into Associate Director / Director level for high performers.
