Finatal placed a Technology Advisor and an Interim IT Director at Southeast Lineman Training Center, helping the Warren Equity Partners-backed business define its technology priorities and begin delivering its roadmap.
The challenge: technology capability to support growth
Southeast Lineman Training Center, a vocational training business backed by Warren Equity Partners, was expanding through acquisitions and new locations. Its technology function needed to develop alongside that growth.
The business required two complementary appointments: an advisor to define a technology roadmap and an interim leader to begin implementing it while a permanent search progressed. The roadmap needed to cover people, processes, governance, applications, security and data management, providing a practical view of how technology should support the wider business.
Connecting technology advice with interim delivery
Finatal’s On-Demand & Interim Technology & AI Leadership practice assessed candidates against the technologies in scope, including Salesforce, alongside their sector experience, cultural fit and understanding of private equity-backed businesses.
We placed a short-term Technology Advisor to establish priorities and define the target state. An Interim IT Director then took responsibility for moving the recommendations into implementation, providing continuity between the advisory work and day-to-day delivery.
The result: a clear roadmap and leadership to deliver it
The two appointments brought experienced technology leadership into the business at a critical stage of expansion. The advisor established the direction, while the Interim IT Director provided the leadership needed to begin putting it into practice.
Together, the appointments addressed immediate leadership gaps, strengthened IT capability and gave the business a clearer approach to supporting its operational and growth objectives through technology.
